Seller Terms
These Seller Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service to anyone who lists items or accounts for sale on Vaultly. By applying to sell, you agree to them.
1. Becoming a seller
- You must apply and be approved before you can list. We review every application by hand and may reject any application without giving reasons.
- Your answers must be true. Approval can be withdrawn at any time if they turn out not to be.
- You sell as an independent trader, not as our employee or agent. You are responsible for any taxes on your sales.
2. Listings
- Describe exactly what the buyer receives, how and when you deliver, and anything the buyer needs to do.
- You must own, or be entitled to sell, everything you list. Stolen, hacked, duplicated, exploited or fraudulently obtained goods are banned, as is anything listed under prohibited items.
- Keep stock accurate. Stock is reserved when a buyer orders and returned if the order expires or is refunded.
- Prices are in US dollars.
2a. Photos
- You may add up to four photos per listing. Each one is reviewed by a moderator and stays hidden until approved.
- Photos must show the actual item or account you are selling. No nudity, violence, personal information, contact details, links, watermarks advertising other sites, or images you don't have the right to use.
- Location data and other hidden metadata are removed from photos automatically. Repeatedly uploading rejected content can lead to your selling being restricted.
3. Delivering orders
- Only deliver once the order shows In escrow. Never deliver on a buyer's promise to pay later, or on screenshots of a payment.
- Deliver promptly — within 24 hours of the payment being secured unless your listing says otherwise — and keep the buyer informed in the order chat.
- Mark the order as delivered only after you have actually delivered, and describe what you did. For account sales, include every login detail the buyer needs.
- Keep evidence of delivery (trade screenshots, logs, recordings). You will need it if there's a dispute.
4. Account sales
- You must hand over full, exclusive access, including the email or recovery method where the listing says so.
- You must never try to recover, reclaim or access an account after selling it. Doing so is fraud: we will ban you, may use your remaining balance to compensate the buyer, and may report it to the authorities.
5. Getting paid
- When an order completes, the subtotal minus our 5% commission is added to your balance. The commission is rounded down to the cent in your favour, and the rate is fixed on each order when it is placed.
- Orders complete when the buyer confirms, 3 days after you mark them delivered if the buyer does nothing and there is no dispute, or when a dispute is decided in your favour.
- Your balance is kept in US dollars. You can request a withdrawal of at least $30.00 in any supported cryptocurrency. It is converted at the exchange rate when the payout is sent.
- Withdrawals are reviewed and sent manually by our team, usually within 24 hours. We may hold a withdrawal while a dispute, fraud check or legally required verification is open.
- You are responsible for giving a correct address on the correct network. Payouts sent to the address you gave cannot be reversed.
6. What sellers must not do
- Move a buyer off Vaultly to trade or pay, or share contact details to do so.
- Avoid our commission in any way, including by asking a buyer to cancel and re-buy elsewhere.
- Buy your own listings, create fake orders or operate multiple seller accounts.
- Pressure a buyer to confirm before they've received the item.
- Harass, threaten or deceive buyers or staff.
6a. Reviews and restrictions
- Buyers can leave a positive or negative review after each completed order. Your positive percentage is shown on your profile and next to your offers.
- If your share of positive reviews falls below the threshold we set, your account is flagged for review, and your selling may be restricted automatically. While restricted your offers are hidden and you can't list, but you must still deliver orders that are already paid, and you can still request withdrawals of money you've earned.
- If you believe a review breaks our rules, contact support. We may hide it.
7. Enforcement
If you break these Seller Terms we may remove listings, pause your selling, hold payouts while we investigate, or close your seller account. Money you legitimately earned will be paid out to you, less amounts owed to buyers because of your conduct and subject to any legal hold.
8. Changes
We may update these Seller Terms and our commission for future orders. We'll post changes here and give notice on the site before significant changes take effect.
