How a middleman deal works
Create the deal
Say whether you're buying or selling, what's being traded and the price in USD.
Invite the other side
Send them the private join link. You can lock it to their Vaultly username.
Both accept
Agree the details in the deal chat. Any change needs both of you to accept again, then the terms lock.
Buyer pays escrow
The buyer sends crypto to the deal's own address. The seller is told the moment it's secured.
Seller delivers
Trade in-game or hand over the account, then mark it delivered with the details.
Buyer releases
The buyer confirms and the seller is paid. No action after 3 days releases it automatically.
5% fee, paid by the seller
Taken only when a deal completes. The buyer pays exactly the agreed price. No fee on cancelled or refunded deals.
$5.00 – $5,000.00 per deal
Pay with Bitcoin or Litecoin. The crypto amount is locked for 20 minutes when the buyer starts paying.
Disputes decided by people
If something goes wrong, open a dispute. The payment freezes and a moderator reviews the deal chat and evidence.
Questions
Do I need to be an approved seller?
No. Any Vaultly account can buy or sell through a middleman deal. Accounts whose selling was restricted can still take part as the buyer.
What if the terms change after I accepted?
They can't change without you. Every edit resets the other side's acceptance, and once both of you accept the same version the terms lock for good. You always accept a specific version.
When does the seller get paid?
Only when the buyer presses “I received my item”, when a moderator decides a dispute for the seller, or automatically 3 days after the seller marks the deal delivered if the buyer does nothing. Opening a dispute stops the automatic release.
Can we cancel?
Either side can cancel until the buyer starts paying. Once money is in escrow, use the dispute option on the payment page instead.
How do I avoid scams?
Only ever use links on vaultly.lol. Vaultly staff will never message you first on Discord or ask you to pay anyone directly. Sellers: never hand anything over until the deal chat says the payment is secured in escrow.
